Win a History Book

The Hattie Weber Museum of Davis is displaying a large aerial photograph of Davis. The public is invited to stop by the Museum on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 10am and 4 pm. to view the photograph. Anyone who can identify when the picture was taken will win a free Davis history book.

The Museum is at 445 C Street in Central Park, near the Farmers' Market. The Yolo County Historical Society operates the Museum for the Davis Community. Current exhibits include “Davis High School 1927-1960,” “Davis 1890,” “Miss Hattie (Weber),” an enlarged “Davis Boy Scouts and their Cabin,” exhibit, a timeline of events in the Davis area and elsewhere from 1500 to 1917 and Yolo County photographs taken by Arthur Heehler. A pair of the famous Sanborn maps showing Davis neighborhoods in 1933 are on display, as are several prints of wildflower paintings by Davis artist Mary Foley Benson. Admission to the Museum is free. Donations are gratefully accepted.
