Dear Friends

In 2004, you elected me to the Davis City Council to work on these priorities: responsible planning, fiscal balance, and supporting children and families. For the past four years, I have worked hard and I am proud of the progress we have made together in these areas and on several other goals. Serving you on the Davis City Council has been a seamless progression of my public service career. Our family has loved living in Davis and I am delighted to know that a recent survey shows that most Davis residents are very pleased with the level of services provided by the City of Davis over the past few years.

I am asking for your vote again on June 3, 2008. With your support, I will work to make sure Davis remains a great place for families to call home, a great place for children to grow up, a great place for seniors to feel safe and connected, and a great place for all of us to live active, healthy lives. To do this we must make ends meet, assure that our local economy works and continue our basic services at the highest levels. We have more work to do over the next four years, in each of the following areas:

I love working for you and feel honored to have had your support over the years. Please take a few minutes to review this web site and consider helping the campaign. Please call me at 848-3220, drop by during my office hours, or e-mail at saylor@dcn.org if you would like to discuss city issues and be sure to keep in touch by checking the web site for updates.

I ask for your vote on June 3.

Sincerely,
Don Saylor
